Health Alliance For Austin Musicians

SIMS continues to work closely with our partners in the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) which launched in Spring 2005.

HAAM offers the following services to Austin musicians:

• Primary care services through the Seton Healthcare Network
• Basic dental care through St. David's Community Health Foundation
• Mental health services through the SIMS Foundation

"Musicians need access to health care like everyone else, but it's been out of reach until now. This alliance has come together to make it affordable. Finally, musicians will have access to preventive health care and dental services, beyond the mental health services already provided by SIMS. There will be a place to turn to, for both body and mind."
